WORLD FRIENDSHIP DAY – DENVER FRIENDSHIP FORCE STYLE!
We have the opportunity to once again help meet
a world of needs by volunteering to sort donations of medical supplies at
Project C.U.R.E. (Commission
on Urgent Relief and Equipment). World Friendship Day is a day to
celebrate not only our close ties here at home but broadly across the globe,
and what better way than to provide a helping hand to a need greater than our
own? Our recent club ambassadors to
Uganda and Kenya took medical kits from Project C.U.R.E. to their host clubs
there. The appreciation for those gifts
was deep and palpable. Let’s not stop
now!!
Here are
the details:
Date and time: Saturday, March 24th 9 a.m. – 12 noon
Location: 10377 E. Geddes Ave. (between. S. Havana & S. Fulton Streets)

Additional information:
This volunteer event unfortunately can only accommodate 15 volunteers. It is a limit that Project C.U.R.E. itself puts on its program, so the early birds to sign up will definitely be the ones with a space for this great opportunity to serve others!
For those who would like to have lunch together afterward, we may plan on going to a nearby restaurant. Others can join us for lunch, if they would like (and if we can make lunch happen). Look for possible lunch details in the March newsletter.
