FFD’s wonderful trip to the resort city of Biarritz, France was what our ED, Jack Green, called a “Pinch Me” experience: it seemed like a dream.  We were first hosted by members of the Bordeaux club for two days, where we toured the St.Emilion vineyard, and several other popular attractions.  We then moved on to Biarritz, a stunning seaside resort area in the southwest corner of France, where our hosts planned a variety of activities including visits to Bayonne, Saint Jean de Luz, La Rhune (their mini-Pikes Peak) and nearby unique Basque villages. We added our own extension to Spain, starting in San Sebastian, and driving to Madrid with overnight stops in several scenic towns – Bilbao, Burgos, Segovia, Toledo - on the route and finishing up in amazing Barcelona. This was a spectacular add-on to a fascinating trip, a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
